@TheCookiesMob Cookies N Cream's Sneakerhead & ToyStreet 2011. ..

Here's some words from your favorite bakers in NYC, Cookies N' Cream:

We're glad to finally be able to show you something we've been working on for a while, the prototype of our very first Cookies -N- Cream designer figure - SNEAKERHEAD. Sneakerhead is an art figure we have been working on bringing to life for quite some time. The piece was conceptualized over a year ago and is inspired by our appreciation for sneakers/sneaker culture. We worked on the concept/initial design and then brought in our friend, Turkish designer Derin "Mekazoo" Ciler who helped refine it to what the final piece now looks like. The image below is the prototype sculpt of the figure and was done by one of the best sculptors in the business - Eric "END" Nocella-Diaz of Argonaut Resins. We will be working on getting a painted version into production and send out more images as the piece continues to develop. We look to also do different colorways and select collaborations in the future. A price will be announced as we get closer to releasing the figure.

Last year saw the launch of ToyStreet here in New York City and the reception was great! The second Toystreet event will be going down on April 22nd, 2011 and will be even bigger. We have plenty of things planned for this year's ToyStreet and you can look forward to another super cool event. For those who may not know what Toystreet is, it is an annual event for toy collectors, artists and vendors alike to unite in a unique experience where they can buy/sell/trade designer toys and other related merchandise such as art, clothing, handcrafted goods, sneakers etc You can go here to see the pictures from the launch event. We will be sending out an official email about the event soon but if you are interested in being a sponsor and/or participating in this year's Toystreet, please send an email to toystreet@bakedinny.com
