ehT E:cstatic is Herree. Mos Def.initely.

Mos Def just crasshed the party! Simmer down now.. Quiet dog bite hard my God! That line sums up the feeling of this album. The album is Brooklyn, NYC written all over it. Audio Vandalism! Each song is about 2 verses long which makes this album quick yet covering all angles. I'd like to call it "Anti-AutoTune Music". It's almost like NY music is changing its sound on some "we don't give a fuck anti- airplay" feel. Similar to DOA joint. I mos definitely like this album hands down. It's a breath of fresh polluted NYC air. I mean the L.A. times couldn't have said it better:

"It also showcases Mos Def's most engaged lyrical flow in years -- positive in spirit and some of it looking back, as he does on "History" with his former Black Star compatriot Talib Kweli. Set to a crooked Dilla beat that reshuffles itself more cleverly than the average loop, "History" concludes with one of Mos Def's cerebral rhyme-strands and then segues into "Casa Bey," which pits chugging samba funk against optimistic, misty-eyed piano traces..." - Margaret Wappier of L.A. Times

Shouts to Mos Def. Cop it and cop the actual cd like its 1997and itunes doesn't exist. Below I leave you with a classic video from Mos Def "Ms.Fatbooty".
