When i first heard about Joell, It was about 04, I was getting a cut at Who's Next in Bushwick, Brooklyn.. by my barber Thane, who fucked with him, Thane had these "Who is Joell Ortiz Stickers?" all over the barbershop. I told Thane i made beats, hit my whip and tossed him a copy of The Pink Album and some beats. But, rec'd no response back. Whatevers though.. But, the first time i heard Joell's music was The Brick. I brought the shit off itunes and spazzed out. The fact that homie lives up the block from the kid. Shouts to Cooper Housing, Bklyn.. Shouts my dude Scape, who actually tossed a beat cd of mine to barber Raid from Fade 2 Famous with my Misunderstood Beat on it but i heard through the grapevine Joell wanted to use it. smh.. lol Bugged me the fuck out. Didn't know we has this much heat in Willy B/Greenpoint. I have had Joell sightings when i pass through Cooper but i never have a fucking cd.. I gotta get this nigga on one of my beats ASAP!!
